Abstraction

"a masterpiece starts with a single stroke"

I am a statue
I am frozen in a time that is long past
I wear a never-changing face
as I watch the passersby

They point and laugh at me
and the shape in which I was made
Odd disfigurement with many titles
Abstract, unique, it's all the same

I do not speak a word
I merely stare in space
But the expression in my eyes
says everything I need

I am a statue
I am frozen in a time that is long past
in the shape in which I was made
But still I am a piece of art

The End
