Cosmic Love

Now in quantum darkness my soul resides,

And particles almost kiss fleetingly,

For when all the anti-matter collides,

I can conjure your way of meeting me.

No starlight trains or bullets beat as fast

As this random, meek ionisation

Of the oddity called a beating heart,

These planets bleeding cold radiation.

From the beginning of stardust’s journey,

I knew our orbits were flying forward;

Neutralisation leads to a yearning,

Subsidising knowledge for cosmic love.

Always in that quantum lingering hides

The blackest hole, there one abstract collides.

The End
