Oh, Spectral Anomaly [Sonnet Version]
Oh, spectral anomaly: moon so bright,
Hanging joker or jester and fooling
Where in your heart you shine reflected light,
Her majesty-warmth you are removing,
Without care inwards and so half-hearted,
Outwards: show imperfections to our road,
The images moved, then images fled,
As if your maintenance needed a goad;
Whether in crescented or in full-bloom,
Your beauty, swindling, is vicious in white,
Before day's dying veil or night of groom,
Your answer is dumb, bringing bleary ice;
Your faults, despite ample anomaly,
Simply enhance the beauty we must see.
