A Strange Feeling

About unrequainted (correct me on the spelling) love and how it can quickly turn to hatred

Struck into love/

And an emptiness grows without her/

But time is not a friend/

To the unreciprocated/

And butterflies turn to iron

Hatred gathers momentum/

And in my mind it festers/

And in the night it pesters/

Corroding my mentality

Love and warmth are strange/

Fear and hate become the same/

The approaching fires/

Barbed wire to your heart’s desire

Coming together/

And breaking apart as quickly/

Love lasts forever/

A statement I’ll never know/

Time is not a friend/

When fate is against you

Love and warmth are strange/

Fear and hate become the same/

The approaching fires/

Barbed wire to your heart’s desire

Love and warmth are strange/

Fear and hate become the same/

The approaching fires/

Barbed wire to your heart’s desire

The End
