A poem I wrote after listening to a song with the same title (Indian song which i absolutely love even though I have no idea what the words mean) :D

Alive

I felt

For the first time

In this life.

A touch of hope

When I see your smile

So beautiful

I'm lost in your eyes.

Can't wake up

From this dream

Intoxicating

It is to me.

I lean in

And reach out to you

Wait for the magic

I believe is true.

A secret smile

A stolen gaze

A love alights

Fire ablaze. 

Beautiful hearts

Soulful minds

That unite

Forever for tonight.
