A Savage World

I am, without any kind of shame, a fan of the game Pikmin. The poem (and the game) are about how the astronaut Olimar is struck by a meteor and crashes on a savage world of predators. He discovers an odd race of aliens that he calls Pikmin. In order to save himself and repair his ship, he must enlist the aid of the Pikmin. Hope you enjoy! Please note that none of this is mine. All of the names and concepts are Nintendo's. I just write the poems.

Olimar woke up

Under a strange and starry sky

Olimar woke up

He thought he would die

Olimar woke up

His body was frozen

Olimar woke up

His sensors said poison

Olimar got up

Reached for his Air pack

Olimar got up

It felt small on his back

Olimar got up

Afraid and amazed

Olimar got up

He had 31 days

Olimar walked up

Scanning his vision

Olimar walked up

He saw an... Onion?

Olimar walked up

Doubt in his eyes

Olimar walked up

And to his surprise

The Pikmin woke up

Shouting in their shrill voices

The Pikmin woke up

They took their places

The Pikmin woke up

After seeing their needs

The Pikmin woke up

They gave Olimar the seed

Olimar learned up

He learned to control them

Olimar learned up

Bits of knowledge were gems

Olimar learned up

He mastered the seed

Olimar learned up

He learned everything he'd need

Olimar went on

Nothing could stop him

Olimar went on

Found the rest of the Pikmin

Olimar went on

His foes burned, went sizz

Olimar went on

He mastered his Biz

Olimar flew up

He had repaired his craft

Olimar flew up

He'd reached the end of his path

Olimar flew up

He waved goodbye

Olimar flew up

Saw the Pikmin

Cry

The End
