A Revelation

Atop a lofty height

Covered in decadent soil

There he sat in in fright

Of terrible tenacious turmoil

The seas lashed out in anguish

The skies, torn open, left to rot

All but a paltry remnant of land did perish

All he wanted now was to rebuild, but alas, he could not

Salvation was beyond his reach

Superficial hope had faded

He became a parasite fouler than the bloodsucking leech

He had all but been eradicated

Knowing those who did this were him

He ran and ran and ran

Light of life began to dim

He was, man.

The End
