A Quiet Place

A person is in a calm area and is describing what she sees and feels.

The air is thick and metallic grey

The trees around dance around me

A burst of light from a pit of  blackness

The suns rays scorch my face and i am fearless.

I am not alone

There are lights fluttering around me

They  flush away my tears

And bring my soul to the surface

The day grows on and there is a stunning silence.

The blackened fog returns to send shivers up my spine

the dancing trees turn to shadows

The hollow log on which i sit becomes icy and dull

The day ends and the last shimmers fade back into the darkness.

The End
