A Plea at Midnight

Yep, another one of those seemingly meaningless poems....

To the moon at midnight

Save me tonight
Transport me to the
Where the angels and demons
Play hide-and-seek
Redeem my soul

Purify me, wash me anew
My heart is left free,
Yours for the taking
Free me from these shackles
But do so slowly, gently;
I am fragile

Allow me to ride
The expanses of your arms, free
Refresh me, I shall awake
In the warmth of your gaze
Resurrect me
From the ashes of the fallen

You are my savior tonight

The End
