A Player's Kiss

At first, I'd begun to wonder
Why had he chosen me?
But then, I realized my answer
He'd kiss anyone... if they paid his "fee"
How could I have been so stupid?
Why am I so damn naïve?
Would you believe I stayed around
Because he begged me not to leave?
I was just another girl
A replaceable pawn in his game
My love, my lips, my special gift
Were all things that he did claim
So again I lay here in my bed
Trying to fall asleep
But how can I even consider it
When my dreams are tormented by that malicious creep?

The End
