I looked to the light and saw my delusions
I asked for his love and was granted nothing in return
I made a fantasy to satisfy my own illusions
Heartbreak is a lesson we never fully learn
Is there anyone else but you
Love is what I want but it's all a dream
Is there anything more I can do
Love is wasted and I can barely breathe
I lost myself long ago to vague intentions
What am I even looking for, if not a lie
My heart sinks further away from the heavens
Even if the skies themselves begin to cry

In another world we'd be together
It'd be so easy if you could believe
If only I had the strength to make shadows of my dreams
