A Haiku Collection
The heat wave hits hard,
Drying up everything green.
Rain is a late guest.
Falling leaves lie still
On streets that once knew summer.
--Time has forgotten.
Spider clings to her
Egg sack as I prune my plants.
I'm a mother too.
Snow falling softly
White wonderland shimmering
A Snow Queen lives here
Rain falls lightly down
Each droplet a precious jewel
Watering spring sprouts
Soft silky petals
Brush the legs of bumblebees
A thing of beauty
March winds sweep leaves off
the back patio outside,
cleaning up for spring.
