Determination Burning

Give me a light,

Tell me anything you need,

I'll hold you tight,

And I'll try to set you free

At the same time,

As the sun beats down,

A ball of iron,

A ball of that rotten desire;

Can I set fire to the moon?

Set fire to my dreams,

Like you set fire to my heart.

I'll hold you down or raise you up,

Pin you to my heart upon the ground,

Whilst we vie our feelings,

Reel each other,

Lie without a sound...

There's a flame I can't extinguish,

A flame that won't burn out;

Some determination burning

Its way right through my soul;

To make something of anything:

To reach and take my goal.

The End
