Ode To Love

Oh love,

How you dangle me.

A Spider leering down,

Without even a touch,

The prey is caught,

Wrapped up in its own doings,

And, powerful,

Its actions wrap it further;

No matter how much strength,

No matter about the beast inside…

Claws ready to drag;

Teeth are ready to cut

Away all sense;

All that’s left is

Numbness, as the soul is turned,

Turned away.

Oh love,

How you dare to change me.

The End
