My Physics textbook talked about the future when schools might be turned into amusement arcades and children would learn from an on-line source instead. The exercise suggested to write a letter to a local MP for or against the idea, or to write a poem. This is the poem.
No more school!
We’re all sitting around,
Staring at the ground,
They all want computers;
They think they’ll rule the world,
They haven’t seen what could be unfurled-
Robots will ruin us,
That’s clear enough to see,
And, in fact, not what’s bothering me;
Just don’t send us to boot camp,
No way not at all,
We’d rather be going into school.
