A Day Will Come

It's about freedom and the desire to explore the world and not to be weighed down by expectation

I wonder what they would've made of me

I ponder constantly my sense of direction

The weights of crimes I never committed bought to bear

Looking for a darkness that was never there

The day will come

Nothing's set in stone and when it's done

I'll try best to look up and run

It's burning and the wine turns to bleach

Mourning a memory out of reach

Raise your fist high

We'll bring down the skies

Raise your fist high

Tear out what lives inside

I think about everything that matters

As the wind howls and the sea batters

My senses took a hammerblow in the fall

I can remember nothing at all

Raise your fist high

We'll bring down the skies

Raise your fist high

Tear out what lives inside

We seek to exist wherever we can

Exploring the world, committed to nothing

We drank the rivers dry and we ran

Oblivious, no reason for suffering

Raise your fist high

We'll bring down the skies

Raise your fist high

Tear out what lives inside

The End
