A CRACKED CRYSTAL

A CRACKED CRYSTAL

When the crystal intact does shine,
Radiating a hue of red wine..
The lake of emotions within..
Contained in the impenetrable glass wherein,
locked bound, chained, never to flow,
Never to let you know what inside does glow...

Till at last a day comes...
when that someone at last becomes...
A medium to shatter the wall...
Letting flow the feelings and desires,...  a roll of a cystal ball,
Turning , spinning , twirling the contents gush....
Emptying hastily... in an unsteady rush...

The spark that now lights the fire ...,
Gives a flare to the unending desire..
For the person who committed the unpardonable sin...
And let you experience the contents within..
Its scents both sweet and bitter....
Taking you in its grasp and making you dither..
Its intoxicating breath flowing through each vein...
Spoke of the path of desires and passion now lain...

Taking control with you in its stroong stream,
Showing you things ,right though they do not seem,
But ALAS! the power to differentiate is long gone...
Its only the flow you have to follow on and on and on...

The millions of bits for her you put together,
To think that it would have lasted forever...
Who knew that that was not to be,
For alas this is life you see...

Slowly the furiously flowing stream...
Does seem to soon lose its steam,
Beginning to withdraw even quicker,
On the way the heaty arguments as you bicker,

The charm soon lost to nothingness

The blinding beauty, its enchantment lifted,
As the memories so fond drifted...
Of the past its glimmer fading,
Its waterfall swiftly cascading...

The charm soon lost to nothingness

The cracked fragments do come together...
Piece by piece till the shape they muster...,
Of the crystal intact, save for a small crack,
From where the contents backtrack...
The crack now seals, except for a small mark,
That tells of a journey with light and dark..

The crystal intact again does shine,
Radiating the hues of red wine..
The lake of emotions within..
Contained in the PENETRABLE glass wherein,
Locked bound, chained, WAITING to flow,
WAITING to let you know what inside does glow...
