Thorns

Every rose has a thorn,

But what if other flowers are worn?

Would they not have thorns of their own?

Every flower has a meaning,

Each, if misunderstood, can be deceiving.

What to do with flowers that no one wants?

The past of flowers haunts

The ones that have felt the horns,

The prick of a heart broken thorn.

The End
