I Love Him as the Moon Loves the SunMature

Simply written, simply meant. Tried not to clog it down with any remotely complex words. I wish it were this simple for always.

I love him as the moon loves the sun.

He is bigger than I,

And brighter,

And full of adventure and excitement.

He lends me light,

So that I might have a bright side.

I turn my bright side to face him,

And when he looks at me,

The darkness on my other cheek is discarded,

Discounted, unseen.

He is wonderful, billowing with laughter

And erupting in sunshine.

I am covered in craters,

Cursed by imperfections,

Decorated by flaws,

But when his brightness reflects in my face

I am shining.

The End
