Lovely Darkness

A silver trail of snow

Leading far,

Far away

Beyond the reach

Of the dark forest

Trees, leaning

Bending in

Towards the figure

Small and insignifacant

Yet, these trees

Are leaning in

A gesture of helpfulness

Of quiet guidence

For he

Should not be here,

The land of dark

And wildness

He is from

The world of soft

And happy hearts

Yet he throws

Out him arms

Hugging the darkness

Fearing no evil

Saying softly,

"Lovely darkness!"

The silver line of snow

Leading him far,

Far away...

The End
