The Vineyard

Row, after row

Vine, after vine

On and on

The grapes

They grow

Plump, purple

Juicy and firm

Climbing

To the clouds

Reaching

For the sky

To be a vine

Many arms

Many legs

Embracing

The world

Content to sit

In the sun

And shade

Swaying

With the wind

They stand

Graceful, proud

Of their contribution

To the growing

Okanagan

They stand

Content to be

A vineyard

The End
