The Idea of Endings

Where did you even go she asked me. She said it was just to go away. Did I go anywhere I asked her. She said I did. Where did I go then I asked her. She said it was some place safe. I said I didn't realise I'd gone. She said it was so noticable. What did you see I asked her. She said she saw me leaving and stepping into the sky. What did I see she asked me. I said I saw her floating away, marking the heavens in red and blue colours.

It didn't take long for the red and blue colours to turn black. My dream. Her dream. Was there even a dream I asked her. She didn't know. I didn't know. But it was over.

The End
