Two poems written at the same timeMature

An open wound for an open heart

Another whisper of pain

Another glint of desire

Another endless masquerade

Another ruined life to add to your collections

You smell of desperation

And fear

And longing

And quite subtly

Of death

My desire for you is as vast as the stars

I could never hold back its expansion

I try with my fingers but they slip away

You slip away

So I stare

And breathe you in

I tried to hug you but

You were only a wisp of moonlight

Then disappearing

Leaving me

With memories

Of supernovas

The End
