A Child's Eyes

A child's eyes
Will always see
What isn't there
To you and me.

To see the world
Through a child's eyes
There wouldn't be
So many reasons to cry.

Through a child's eyes
The world is pure
And even though
Sometimes pain is all they know.

A child's eyes
Can see through lies
But at the same time cannot.

Youthful, beautiful, innocence
Can only provide such purity
Such clarity.
Maybe we should look through a child's eyes.

The End
