A Brooks Farewell

The changing life of a stream.

Up and over,
Down and round,
Winding, threading,
In and out.
Tinklinlg, sprinkling,
Ebbing, flowing,
Burbling onwards,
Gathering speed.
Sparkling, twinkling,
Glistening, gleeming,
Blues and greens
Are interweaved.
What was once a little trickle,
Has now become a river deep.
Soon it's mighty mouth will open,
And swirling chaos will be seen,
Then as the river churns and surges,
To the sea it is bequeathed.

The End
