It Started When It Shouldn't Have

About a boy.

It started back when it shouldn't have,

when I had someone,

and he had someone,

and we were so separately happy.

Those people we loved back then loved us in such a way that they could never deserve what they will never know we did to them. The way we looked to each other for happiness when we didn't need it.

We were suddenly so filled up with each other.

Filled up by the water between our bodies as he lifted me on his shoulders in the ocean and I saw the world from high atop the shoulders I shouldn't have.

Filled up by the sunshine and cold air squished between our bodies as we gasped for air in the high altitude. Or was it your mouth, your attacks, that I so craved, that made us breathless.

Filled up with each other and what we discovered we could get away with that I had no room for the love I should have been loving.

It started back when it shouldn't have,

when I had someone,

and he had someone,

and we were so seperatley happy.

The End
