My brother's in bed fast asleep,
I’m here just lying,
No noise not a peep,
Except for one a constant bleep,
My parents changing channels,

All I hear is,
Bleep “leaps and bounds”,
Bleep “seas and sounds”,
Bleep suddenly I shout,
Keep the noise down,

My mom comes in,
“I’m downstairs,
Not the other side of the town,
So don’t shout”,
She says with a frown
I say “please keep it down”,

It is all my imagination,
As I come to my senses,
I learn it was my own creation,
It was a keen attempt on recreation,
Because all I hear,
Is that constant bleep.

The End
