5'o'clock

Recommend

100 years before, ruled by a master to work them to death

present day considered a failed state

angry and wealthy clinging to their thrones

willing to purge and butcher their own

The eyes of world looking on

pondering action but suffering from division

all the weapons and armies of hell

but exposed as a toothless tiger

as the bodies pile up in the well

Cities built up through slavery and then technology

Cities burning down, the price for being free

Left and right hand equally guilty

Raping and destroying for ideology

Invading one but not another

the eyes of the world bats it's lids again

as the dying are paraded at 5'o'clock

and the public haul the powers in the dock

Power ceded to no other

Another faceless parasite loved by the world

as rifles are fired and brother kills brother

automatic rainshower tears through our hearts

automatic rainshower shredding themselves apart

Cities built up through slavery and then technology

Cities burning down, the price for being free

Left and right hand equally guilty

Raping and destroying for ideology
