4 - Center

Driven west
by the wind,
craving things he cannot have.
Touching skin he cannot see
and feeling like
the orange trees
have come to bloom
in mighty colours
and evening hues.
Does he know
he’s driven west,
by the wind
that he sought
so hard to find
in the night?

Driven east,
by the waters
that craft and forge
her fragile form.
Feeling like
she’s come to bloom
in mighty spectrum
under tragic moons.
Does she know
she’s driven east
by the waters
that she drank
under blood skies
and orange trees,
does she know,
she is looking for me?
