Mind GamesMature

Go ahead and read my mind

You will be terrifled

Of what you find.

The mind is a terrible thing to lose

Because when lost what is left

But a shell for anyone to use

My mind everyday grows dimmer

Especially when it is overshadowed

By the light you seem to glimmer

It makes no honest sense

How you ensnare my mind

When you close up, the defense

To your own mind is strong

While I stay and become weak

And you apologetically drag me along

When will this dragging cease?

For my body is torn from the earth

And is ready to be given some peace

And release from this trap you made

Where my mind has been lost to you

And with it you’ve toyed and played

The End
