Hour 6: Fear Not

Fear Not

Fear not the future

Though it must surely hold your death

For it is the past that haunts us

Taunts us with the things we did not know

About this poem:

Quick and to the point. I actually shaved lines off of this one. It didn't need to be any longer.

Form/Style: Short Form, Free Verse, Carpe Diem
Rhythm/Metre: Free
Rhyme/Scheme: None, with the exception of a single internal rhyme
Themes and Tone:
There's little to say about this one. It is philosophical and advisory in tone. It is an encouragement to look forward, accept inevitabilities, and to not dwell on what cannot be changed.
