Title: Hunted
Animal: Rabbit

An open field, a wash of blues and greens,
Nestled between two crystalline streams.

A peaceful home, with a gentle breeze,
undisturbed ‘neath the trees.

But wait! What’s that? My ears pricked up with a twitch of my head,
for there I saw, with a bushy tail and a quick flash of red...

I flick my hind, and run like the wind,
my heart pounds in my chest as to the floor I was pinned...

The End
