What is Protagonize?
Protagonize.com is a creative writing community dedicated to writing various forms of collaborative, interactive fiction. One author writes a story, and others post branches or chapters to it in different directions. The result is an organic, evolving story where everyone can participate.
In June of 2008, Protagonize was selected as a finalist in the 2008 Canadian New Media Awards, for "Excellence in Social Media Websites". In July of 2008, Backbone Magazine and KPMG named Protagonize as one of the top 20 Web 2.0 projects in Canada in their PICK 20 competition. In March of 2009, Protagonize was selected as a finalist in the 2009 SXSW Interactive Web Awards. Protagonize has attracted over 22,900 authors since its debut in late December, 2007.
Protagonize is developed, owned, and operated by Taunt Media.
