@Jack Thanks. =] Just to double-check, is the letter-correspondence form of my piece okay? I don't want to wake up tomorrow and find out I've been disqualified for breaking rules. ^^;

@Sareneth, i think it should be fine. if you want to be extra safe you could always tack something on at the end to make it explicit that the letters are not recent, but historical.

i don't want to say too much, really, since i'm a panellist and will be reviewing entries and all, hah.

Damn you! *Elo shakes her fist in mock anger* I was going to try and guess. Except I don't know if my brain could have come up with those words... not tonight at least. *grin*

Just so everyone knows, for some reason when I copy and paste my reviews from Word none of my apostrophes or quote marks carry over. If you see a review from me and it says something like: I cant see anything wrong with the phrase hunka hunka burnin love [with the apostrophes and quote marks missing], please know that it's not intentional.

I just wanted all of you to know. I promise I know how to use apostrophes, they're just not carrying over in my review :P

It's not just that I don't want you doubting me as a judge, but when I see that I've missed an apostrophe it literally makes me start squirming. I really am a dork like that ;)

@Archi - That happened to me, too. My OCD almost gave me a heart attack before I realized what was happening.

I'm back! Sorry for vanishing like that; I was camping and cut off quite completely from internet access. I'll get to those reviews but it may have to wait until tomorrow since I still have to type my challenge four entry. Sorry for the delay everyone!

@verse47 - at least it's only the permit test. I failed my driving test 3 times before the lady esentially said 'well you seem good enough, we'll just give you that licence.' I'm great at paper tests, apparently not so much at the practical one (especially with intimidating looking and gruff police officers watching). *grin and huggles*

About this group

'cause we all know it's more exciting in Imaginationland.

Worldbuilding is a process, a process that never really ends. It begins with the conception of the setting, progresses as details and histories are filled in, and is then finally refined and reshaped as the characters explore it.

Some writers construct huge worlds with deep histories, cultures, languages, geographies, and societies. Others opt for a simpler approach, and construct only what they need to tell a story convincingly.

Whatever approach you take, this group hopes to provide some tips and tools for the worldbuilding process and, should you need it, people to help you along the way. We're all crafting stories here, why not make them a little more convincing?
