The very first sentence of this novel is, "The great grey beast February had eaten Harvey Swick alive."
The Thief of Always is fantasy, but I believe it is perfect for anyone of any age and any gender.
So, that's my recommendation. If anyone would like to discuss it further, or recommend me any fantasy/suspense/horror novels, feel free! I would greatly appreciate it.
