Totally!! Especially Effie... haha but shes still cool! I think the part when Katniss volunteers shows of Jennifer lawrences acting skills! Are you happy with the cast?

I love these books. I am so excited about the movie. I agree with Shally16 though. I hope it doesn't turn out like Percy Jackson.
I'm also on Team Peeta. I don't know if it was intentional but Gale is just dislikeable.

Just wondering, is it just me or was anyone sort of let down by the final book? Or imagined the outcome in a less depressing way?

Well I wonder who these people could be? I definitely thought that final chapter was a let down. I suppose it was in Katniss' nature to narrate it that way, but I would have loved to know more about their futures.

Having watched the trailer, the proper one, I'm still pretty excited, but not aaas excited as I was. It's going to be a good film, that much is true haha, but none of the characters really looked like I imagined them. Haymitch, for one.

I had borrowed the books off of a teacher of mine. I walked into class the next day and handed her the book. She looked at me and said "Did you like it?" I said no and she laughed and said "I'm not surprised. All my students who read it have the same expression on their face as you afterwards."


I don't think i ever truly put actors faces to the cast, but as long as they are decent actors and get the personalities across I don't think it matters if they aren't picture perfect.

Yeah, I agree. As long as they act the part well and look kinda close, same hair at least, then I think it will be fine.
