Now, I picked this trilogy up a few days ago because I saw that they were making it into a film, and I love reading books before seeing the film. And I'm nearly finished the second.

So I was wondering what you guys thought of the series? Because from what I read so far, they're awesome and I feel bad for not picking them up earlier. Even though Katniss gets on my nerves quite alot, I still like her. And I adore Peeta haha.

I have the Hunger Games series in my collection but haven't quite started reading them yet. But I probably should start soon from the sounds of it. :P

BEST BOOKS EVER! Someone had told me to read these books on another website, and I was like ok, but I didn't really feel like looking into them. But the books followed me.
At my school's book fair, I saw them and recognized them. But I didn't feel like spending 30 dollars on them. But when I saw them in a book order my mom had brought home, they were in a box set with hardback, so I ordered them and I too feel guilty to have not read them earlier. Now I am addicted to anything hunger games related! I even got my dad to love them!

They have that habit of appearing everywhere don't they! I found that too, so I gave in and bought them. Anyone just wish she'd be nice enough to Peeta to actually want to be with him? I'm not a Gale fan haha.

lol, I don't think anyone's a Gale fan. Peeta is by far the the best! <3

Gale would be a awesome guy to be friends with, but hands down Peeta as a husband. How about that Josh dude for him in the movie? I think if he was blonde he would have been my vision of Peeta! But then again my visions are allways blurry...

I pictured Peeta as Josh Hutcherson from the start, to be fair. I love him, and he was in Cirque Du Freak: Vampire's Assistant as Steve and he was awesome then too.

Having had a look at the cast I think it's pretty good. They've got Woody Harrelson I think to play Haymitch, and he'd be perfect. I quite like the girl they've got to play Katniss too. Looks set to be a good film!

Yeah, the cast definately fits their roles. The movie looks good. Hopefully it is!! I don't want it to turn into another Percy Jackson repeat... *shudder* They totally ruined that movie...

They did? As in compared to the books? Because I didn't mind the movie. But I haven't read the books, so I don't know.

I really am excited for the Hunger Games movie. Just started the last book, had to open it on a random page just to see who was still with us. Couldn't read the book and find out haha.

I finished all the of them, and they've made it on to my favourite books list. I'm a bit sad about *ahem* certain people but I'm happy for everyone. I didn't really like the ending if I'm honest. I always feel like the only reason Katniss ever wanted anything to do with Peeta is because she knew he was completely in love with her, not because she genuinely loved him back. So I always thought Peeta could do better. But there you go.

Yaah, When I think that *ahem* is dead, I always feel like crying! I kinda liked the ending, but I hated how Suzanne didn't tell us anything else about the kids, or anything else. She didn't even tell us the kids names! Now that was cruel.

I cant wait for the film, they've really done the casting well, it'll be interesting to see who they get for people like Rue, Foxface and Prim. :)

If you want to look them up, here's the order: Rue- Amandla Stenburg Foxface- Jackie Emerson(love her!) Prim- Willow Shields I think they all are going to do a great job. They can't go wrong with this movie!

The one person I didn't think they cast quite right was Cinna... I never ever would have thought of Lenny Kravitz.

Yah. I always pictued him differently too.

For halloween, I'm being Katniss and my close friend is being Clove. I had to remind her that knives aren't allowed at school ;)
