This is a battlegroud where writers can go head-to-head, using their ingenuity, their wit, and their words to try in verbal battles. Warning: only the crazed can survive in this mad place.
Here people can stage word battles with other people in the group, and try outdo one another using their words as their weapons. To start a battle, either challenge someone directly or issue an open challenge to anyone in the group. Use the discussions as the battlefield. You win when either the other person willingly surrenders, or you agree to end the battle and let the group vote on who won.
The types of competitions can vary, from insults, compliments, trash talking, quotes, creativity, jokes, and basically anything that involves words. The conditions should be clear before you start the duel. There aren't any restrictions on topics either. Basically anything's fair game as long as all of the fighters agree on it.
If you want in, just ask me or someone in the group. There's no restrictions on joining, but wit and creativity are highly recommended, and you'd better be ready to take hard hits and dish them out as well. A couple rules. Respect people's battles; don't butt in if it's not yours. No excessive use of profanity; you should be able to fight without cursing every post. Don't abuse or belittle others unless it's a part of the battle. Try not to make enemies either; this should just be a friendly way to show your competitive spirit. And please, don't let this just be a gender war. We're writers here; we should be more creative than that.
