Gamemakers. This is the desciption of one (copied from the Hunger Games wiki)

"The Gamemakers design and control The Hunger Games. They design the arena, the outfits, and a number of the deaths. From the tiniest detail to the biggest bloodbath, the Gamemakers are in charge of entertaining the Capitol to the fullest."

As i says above, they are in charge of everything game-wise. We need some. We need a few people to create an arena (terrian, weather, ect).

They also make the evil beasts like the Trackerjackers and Muttations. To make it more interactive, i think we should make one creature each, an choose the best if we have too many. Use this skeleton to help you.

Name: (make it original)
Appearance: (basic shapes, fur or scales, ect. Remember about size)
Colouring: (this may differ between males and females)
Where is it found: (forest, desert, ect)
Attacks: (methods of attack, poisons, special qualities)
Defence: (how does it defend itself)
How to kill it: (dont make it too easy or too hard)

Name: beion (a mix of a lion and a bee)

Appearance: lion in shape with the yellow and black stripes of a bee. It has a foot long sting instead of a tail and bees small eyes. The rest is all lion shaped. It's claws have been modified to look like sharp knifes with poison on the end. it's ear are extremely sensitive

Colouring: the same in both. Black head. Yellow and black stripes. The extremely lethal ones have red heads. But they are rare (only two in the world)

Where it is found: can be found anywhere there is water and flowers. It can live and survive on just water and plants.

Attacks: if aggravated ( it hears a sound luolder than a whisper) Then it will hunt down the sound and then attack the mouth first by leaping ontop of the creature and scratching a paw over the mouth. This causes the person to be immobilised (but still able to hear, see and feel anything around them) for 10 minutes. If the creature is in an ok mood then it will go back to what it was doing, but if not then it will stab the creature through the stomach with it's tail. The person will die extremely painfully within 30 minutes.

Defence: it defends itself using its tail and claws.

How to kill it: you have to remove the tail. Other wise the creature wil multiply when it dies. To remove the tail, you have to sneak up behind the creature and press a l,intel black split just above the tail (hope the end colour is yellow and not black, otherwise you are doomed for touching the creature).

That ok?

@elf AHHHHH! Sounds kinda creepy.

Name: Amobean Shadow (Sorry for the long name, it can be shortened if it's chosen)

Appearance: Jaguar-like shape. Long, sensetive whiskers. Large, pointed ears. Small than a jaguar, more like a large dog, a german shepherd (like Samson ;P). It's eyes are fairly large but narrow. It's fur is so silky it looks like polished scales. It has short claws.

Colouring: Pure black fur, (hence the shadow). It's claws are silver. Females have auburn ring around the end of their tails. <-- Females are more deadly.

Where it is found: It is commonly found dark places, as it is good camouflage. Is found in caves, deep forests or high in mountains. It is rarely seen in open spaces or near water.

Attacks: It commonly attacks with it's mouth, as it's jaws are extremely powerful, and are capable of snapping bones. They also use their claws to attack. This happens more rarely. Though they are small, the claw are very sharp and can be deathly. They usually aim for the legs to make their prey immobile, then can take as long as three days to killed their victim.

Defence: Camoflage is their greatest defence. Since they don't go out into open spaces, it's easy for them to go unspotted. It is very fast, and can jump amazing lengths.

How to kill it: The safest way to kill it is from a distance. First, attacking around it's neck mean it cannot use it's mouth to attack. The skin on it's back is quite leathery so attacking it's neck and head is more effective.

Okay, here's my crazy animal.

Name: Icer/Icers
Appearance: looks like a yeti, except completely made out of ice
Colouring: white, light blue
Where is it found: in snowy, iclandic regions, like caves and mountain hideaways, can't survive in hot weather - melts.
Attacks: bite, claws, can cause avalanches, can freeze you on contact. But it won't attack you if your smart enough to have something hot near you. Can shoot beams of ice and snow from hands and mouth.
Defence: Despite been made of ice, it's extremely resilient and Can withstand anything ice related, freezing anything it comes into physical contact with.
How to kill it: throw something hot at it, smash it's head. The usual.

Name: Skuttler (the name came from scuttling, as in scuttler)

Appearance: A small insect-like creature, with long, thin tentacles (a bit like seaweed) that push the insect along. Pores dotted along the bottom of the tentacles that open when it attacks.

Colouring: Black, but the bottom of it is a striking blue that is very easy to spot at night. The only problem is you can't see it because its belly is on the floor a lot of the time.

Where is it found: jungles and rainforests

Attacks: It crawls stealthily on the victim's body. It usually goes unnoticed because of its small size. It then clamps the tentacles onto the victim and the pores open, allowing poison to seep slowly through the skin of the victim.

Defence: It can wrap its tentacles around a small object, as in a victim's mouth (suffocating them) or maybe stopping the blood flow. It doesn't like being seen and usually goes under the victim's clothes or hides in belongings.

How to kill it: If you see a very striking blue colour, then you know that a Skuttler is near. Its belly gives it away a bit, and if you can take it by surprise you've got an advantage, because they aren't used to being surprised, usually being the cause of surprise themselves. You can either stick something into one of its pores as they open (but it might be too late by then, because the suction power is incredibly strong) or get its blue belly.
The hero of the story could maybe somehow put its poison back through the pores??? I wanted a way that no-one had thought of before to defeat the Skuttler.

Are we allowed to post more than one?

Name:Probella
Appearance: a small bird with a small beak and bright blue eyes
Colours: can vary. Mostly are brown or black but you can get white ones.
Where found: near trees. Any kind of tree as likes to be high up.
Attack: not really made for attacking but its claws are strangely sharp strong and lethal if is able to catch a hold if some skin. It is more a protector bird. If you gain it's trust, by feeding it special berries, then it will stay near you and call out when someone
Defence: can move super fast and it's hearing is super good. It can hear someone's heart beat from 300 yards away.
kill it: A well placed arrow.

Oooh! I can almost see this bird having a big role in the story! Like saving the winner or something?

It's like the mockingbird...:)

Here's the arena plan, kindly written by Luna. This is not the full version, if you want to see that, go the arena discussion group. I thought that we should choose where our creatures should be place, since there aren't many.

Floor 1: Frozen Wasteland, snowstorms, slippery surfaces, small mountain ranges, icebergs, small bodies of water.

Floor 2: Ocean and wild jungle, huge grass plain.

Floor 3: Wood/forest

Floor 4: Desert, little shelter, all sand, unrelenting heat, sparse water.

Floor 5: Mountains, active volcanoes, barren wasteland.

Final floor: The labyrinth, shifting maze.
