Okay. So. Here's what I'm thinking:

I don't really know if I'd want to do it modern, unless you already have that decided. I'm up for a parallel universe, though. For the hate, I'm liking the Welsh/British, though we could always just make two countries up and sort of do it in a fantasy world. If we do that, I think we should try to make Haman as much like the Babylonians as possible. And, um... I had other things. But they aren't showing up at the moment...

How will the king choose his new wife? A talent show, a singing contest, what? I don't remember what exactly he did in the story, so...

Lol, the only thing that's coming my mind right now is the VeggieTales version...

In the actual story, the women were paraded in front of him, and he chose according to beauty. In the time era, I'm pretty sure they spent a night with him, too, but I was thinking we'd leave that out. ;)

Whatever it is, I think it should be fairly believable. I know it's set in a different world, but I think it should be based upon beauty or something that men typically go for. But those are just some thoughts.

Well, since it's kinda based in modern day, how about a beauty pagent? That will definately show off their looks.

Question: are there any restrictions as to who my character becomes? Like, I'll keep it in line with the story, but can he kind of be a jerk? :D

I like that. He's a complete jek at the beginning, but Esther slowly warms his heart and becomes the best king the country has ever had. I know, a bit cheesy, but hey, sometimes they're the best! :)

Hmm, good question. I was thinking definately kind, sweet, and caring. But I was thinking she also has a sense of humiur and loves to have fun. What do you think?
