Here is the new generator role play home! I have included the original post below, to refresh everyone on what it began as, but there have been some changes, so don't depend on that alone.

No god modding, and we all need to post our characters below. Those who were already participating, I don't think anyone really needs to check off on your characters. We all know each other and I don't see there being any problems. Remember to include weaknesses as well as strengths.

There will be no post length limit, but we should try to write more when we can.

I looked around for a generator, and the one I think we could get something from the easiest is the site http://panthermoon.com/generators/generator4.php. The first one I found worth anything was "drugged." so, for the first prompt:
"someone is drugged."

----------
Put simply, a generator roleplay is an ongoing roleplay that is spurred forwards by a daily prompt. Everybody will still be RPing as the same character from one day to the next, and the characters will have memory of the day before (unless they have a valid reason not to, like amnesia). The prompt can either be slowly eased into (e.g. a shipwreck leading to a desert island prompt) or suddenly jumped to (if this is the case, the characters should generally be confused). It's up to the roleplayers.

The daily prompt will be posted on the News Page of the group forum, so please check there.

The usual rules of roleplay still apply (no controlling or killing off other characters, please tell the GM beforehand if you plan to leave, etc.). If you are unsure of any rules, just ask me (Saren), or check the Guide to RPing in the group forum.

You will need to apply before you can post in the roleplay. The form is below, please just post it here after you've filled it in. I'll get back to you about it as soon as possible. This also means that others can use the posts here as reference if they forget information about your character.

The whole point of a generator roleplay is to keep things moving fast and keep up the excitement of never knowing what will happen next. So please post regularly, and tell the GM in advance if you know that you will be unable to post for a certain amount of time (i.e. you're going on holiday).

Technically I've already posted it, but we have a few more decisions to make. Mike and I discussed a schedule for who finds the generator prompt of the week. Does that sound like a good idea? And do we want it in the same setting, or should we move it?

Well, this is nice! I'm bringing Oceane back, since I wanted to develop her more. And how many different threads tie this together? The old generator... this... the new forum? And what else? I'm slightly lost with this... And I vote a different setting. I don't need Oceane to die...
Anyway, here's Oceane (again) with some slight changes... or big ones... idk yet :P

Application Form
Name: Oceane Rayvenz
Age: 22 (looks like a 16 year old, though)
Species: Half human, half warm-water mermaid
Gender: Female

Hair: Long (down to her hips), wavy, color silver or black depending on what mood she's in. (silver- bad mood. black- good mood) normally wears it down with bangs to the right
Eyes: Cerulean blue, big and wide
Skin: creamy tan
Build (height, weight, etc.): 5"5.5', slim but really strong. 56-32-54
Markings: Cwo scars. one on her left ankle (right side) and one on her right ankle (left side) where her fins should be
Piercings:None
Usual Clothing: Black top with a leather jacket, tight pants, and boots

Personality: Really calm, with sudden energy outbursts. Gentle, nice to others, but strong willed and determined. Sensitive to others feelings and can read people well.

Occupation: Medic for both people and animals
Weapon (if any): She has a very powerful voice which she can use as a weapon. Keeps a dagger with her for many purposes. The only magical thing she knows is telepathy, and she's still learning.

Likes: Water, animals, music, hot weather, fire, being with people and learning new things
Dislikes: Cold and ice, violence for no reason, cockiness, manipulation, dishonesty, disregard for others.
Skills: She can transform into her merfolk form will when in water, but can only turn back into human once completely out of water. She can combine her voice and small knowledge of magic, and very sensitive to animals. Very good medic, and pretty good with a dagger.
Weaknesses: Ice, cold, and not being in water after a month, which drains her and causes her to "drown on air". She also seems to get attached to people too easily, and is slightly naive.
Goal: To figure out what she is, since she was banished from her kingdom even though she is of royal decent. Being half human isn't completely rare for her folk, but she was an exception for some reason. Also, to be able to return to her home underwater.

Something you should know: Even though fire would seem to make her weak, it actually strengthens her since she is originally from warm water.

Perhaps we could have certain aspects from the previous roleplay included, like the racial tensions between the Empire and practically everyone else. But seeing as the current prompt is about someone being drugged, I'm guessing it's going to be a jail setting for the first part? Or a bar depending how a character got drugged.

I think a bar would be best. That way, it'll be easier for all of our characters to be there and meet. Also, it could pose for some interesting and fun situations.

And where are we posting all of this?

All in favour of the traditional "let's meet at a bar/tavern/brothel trope? Furthermore, I think it's safe to say we'll be in a Empire (or similar human only) city considering our rather plain and not so diverse different party?

@Engelik I believe Kayla will be starting one up soon...really soon I hope. I want to get this started as soon as possible before school starts again!

Um... Well, I posted it yesterday. The new one. But now it's gone. I don't know what happened, but I'll repost it now! I'm putting the first prompt at the top, just as a reminder, and making my first post. I like the idea of a change of location. And putting it in a bar.

As for school starting, which was mentioned in the old role play, I think that a long absence should be announced either here or on the role play, and we could limit the amount of posts within reason. Like, not five or ten posts, but an amount that makes sense for the time. We also need to decide the schedule for the prompt. I already took my turn, so you can all decide where you want to be on the list, I guess, then I'll add it to the top post so we all know, if that works.

Huzzah! Hold on...is this going to be a first person perspective thing then? And should we have some sort of order so we all don't end up 'bumping' into your character?

Was it in first person last time? I did it by habit, but I can always change. I don't know. I figured we'd all sort of get there... Maybe we get in, someone gets drugged, and we're pulled together by that? But who is going to be drugged anyway?

I volunteer Baldur's services on that one, and also, I think third person would make it much easier.
