I don't think that was suggested, but there was certainly talk of putting that tumb up/down for comments, so you can give someone kudos for giving you good constructive critism.

Although now I think of it, it may have been suggested. But there have been all sorts of discussions about ratings. *grin*

@Lachness-Monster, it has been suggested before, but is likely buried in one of the many idea threads (including this one). from what i remember, the biggest concern was that people would end up writing junk comments, as well as it removing some of the anonymity of ratings.

There's a thread about it over on the support forum:

More info there if you're so inclined. :)
Oh oh oh, I have an idea! (A slightly less impressive one than everything else, but y'know ..)

CurasiTayo and I were chatting, and we realised that the "Just Chatting" icon on the sidepane is grey. Grey seems a rather depressing colour, and we thought it might be nice if it was something more exciting, like purple or something.

Sorry, that sounds very trivial, but we just thought it was a fun idea *sheepish grins*
What? You can chat on here? Where? How? :D
No no, I mean the options when you post a comment on a profile or group and stuff - with the "Praise" and "Critique" options and stuff ... sorry to burst ya bubble :P

@zilla P-Tag chat (like Facebook Chat) has been suggested, but I think it was either deemed a nice to have and so is on the very back burner as other features are implemented instead. *grin*

@Spook, i think the rational behind having the Just Chatting icon as gray is to make the other icons stand out. comments that are Just Chatting are kind of "background noise," and it's nice to be able to quickly locate the more helpful comments simply by scanning for brighter colours.
