hey this is an entry from my friend and I ...
We're 5 chapters in, and more coming!! So go on, read it, & votes would be much appreciated =]
A little extract:
'Something gave the door a shove and I stumbled backwards, hardly expecting the bang that followed it as the doorknob hit the wall.
I can't be alone.
In the darkness, I practically launched myself to my feet, jumping a foot in the air, maybe two, as I turned toward the door. Without another sound, it had shut once again. It was closed, the door locked.
I am so not alone.'
Hope you enjoy! =D
I've gotten some feedback from a couple of contest participants and I just want to make sure that people aren't rating others unfairly in hopes of winning the competition. Here's my feedback to one participant who was concerned that they received a whack of negative votes on an entry that was otherwise solid:
If anyone is unfairly voting down others' entries in hopes of boosting their own entry, I would hope you realize that I can easily see who's rated what. :)
Please try and rate fairly because voting down others for no good reason is about as close to cheating as you can get without voting for your own entry.
Thanks,
-nick
p.s. Nick, thank you for mentioning the rating issue, I hope it isn't like you have stated in my case because I would dislike it extremely if someone was capable of doing that.

Please comment, rate, all that jazz! :D
Please God, no.
That'd be so lame.
(and I've yet to read all these!)
Winners are to be announced soon... just waiting for a couple of votes.

They look awesome, for what it's worth. ;)
