How long is the siege going to last? - not long enough for the General to forcefully get into Sarah's pants.
Well that's a given *grin*
Will Phoenix show himself to Wholawski? - Of course he will. How could he resist the chance to laugh in Wholowhaski's face..
(Actually I can resist that temptation quite well - Jason smiles)
Will he risk everything to get inside and be with Sarah? - Of course. He would die for Sarah.
(Yes, but the chances of my being found and the two of us in the Dungeon together are high. - Jason states - I have also been put in charge of making sure our mission is completed, with out involving my emotion. And yet - Jason sighs - it is a tortuous question and you are right I will die for her.) (You better not - Sarah states)
And if he does, will Wholawski catch them and torture them?- ...he won't get the chance to capture or torture Phoenix as well as Sarah.
Let's just say I hope so too.
What about Ryan, how much of a part will he play? (...). - My thinking is that the Gods get Ryan into the room with the Princess, Sarah and the other ladies. He will tell Sarah of Jason's plans, and where to be, at what time, to capture Wholawaski.
Um Moon... have you read the next chapter already? (But Ryan doens't have to tell me. Jay can so long as I have Willow Cloth - Sarah grins)
Who gets to kill Wholawski? - My hope is Sharon.
I agree.
Will York get a chance to possess his brother, Chester's, body? - Yes, that would be a lovely twist....
You remembered that from PR! *grin* I'm so proud *sniffles*
And how are we going to get Lady Miriam out of the dungeon? - Jason and Sarah rescue her after the General is captured or killed.
Actually Sarah has another plan tog et her out sooner if she can. *grin*
Will I ever get a chance to translate the God mixed up message she was shouting when Sarah first saw her? - Of course you will....
I hope so, because it's not at all what you sugessted (I already know what it means, and the Gods necter has worn off by now...
You made the questionable mistake of asking for an opinion about your dilemmas, Elo. You should know by now that I'm always willing to give an opinion about everything.
And I have no issue with that. It helps the creative proccess... I really ought to be taking notes! I've got so many ideas. Time to cut myself off from the internet and just pound out some words... but where?

OH PHOENIX FANS! I have another Quest for you to undertake...

We all hope that eventually Jason and Sarah will marry, right. Well in properation for that lovely scene, I need your help to flush out the Vervellean wedding song. You see the Vervelleans have a basic song, but they personalize it for each wedding. As you all know a lot about both Sarah and Jason I thought perhaps you could help So... Without further ado I give you:

the Vervellean Wedding Song
chorus
alll the women
Sing hay ho the dairy oh
They've had three months of trial you know
So now it's time for them to wed
For today's their wedding day
all the men
Sing hay ho the dairy oh
They've had three months of denial you know
So now it's time for them to bed
For today's their wedding day

Now I have absolutely no full verses but here's what they need to contain

Verse 1 sung by the female soloist
Now a bit about the bride
Goodwoman Sarah Ann Smith
(6 lines of information on the bride, typically where she is from and what sort of family she grew up in.)
Verse 2 sung by the male soloist
Now a bit about the groom
Seargeant Phoenix Jason de Borguez
(6 lines of information on the bride, typically where she is from and what sort of family she grew up in.)
Verse 3 duet of the soloists
(4 lines on how the bride met/fell in love with the groom)
(4 lines on how the groom met/fell in love with the bride)
Verse 4 duet of the soloists
(8 lines about their courtship)
Verse 5 duet of the soloists
(8 lines about their tri-luna)
Verse 6 duet of the soloists
(8 lines about their wedding bedding)

Now if only I could sing you the tune I've got in my head... it sould use improvement though. :}

Hmm, if I could pick up on the tune, then maybe I could be of some use... I like the idea though! :D

I wish I knew of some way to get you the tune... But really all I got is a tune for the chorus...

It's in 4 4, that I'm pretty sure of.
day is held for four beats (or how ever many to fill the stanza/whatever you call it.. I'm no musician)

da da DE-da de-Dah
Yah de dah de da De-dah

*sigh* Suggestions for how I could get the tune to you?
But like I said it's only fro the choruse. I have no clue if the verses sound similar or not... It's hard to fit names into a tune you know! :}

..... Can I have a wee play with the verses tune then? They're often different from the chorus in songs ... would you mind?

Nope. Not at all. But ti should be upbeat and light hearted. With little enuendos, like the whole - three months of denial and bedding - the men speak of.

You can also play with which soloist sings what. the idea being that the women are the romantics and the men just want to get laid... typical boy versus girl stuff. *giggles*

Make sense? :}

There has been a technical glitch today in that I don't have my most updated copy of Phoenix Triumphant with me. This will mean that you english folks will probably be in bed and sleeping when I finally get around to posting it today. I just wanted you all to know, so you didn't worry that I'd forgotten or something. :}

I'm rather behind anyway. I'm not sure how far, but when I was ill I didn't read anything, so probably since mid December.

Soz :( *feels guilty now* I have been meaning to for a while now, actually. I just only remember about it at the UBER-HEADACHE stage of the evening (which today started at 3.30pm, so I'm doing well).... but I will! I promises!

Aww, Del *hugs* We can feel sick and rotten together. To be fair mine's wearing off after a few days of sleep and food-deprived misery, but I feel your ick-ness.

I need to do some writing soon ... otherwise I may go mad xP

It's okay. Just feel better. We're getting near the end. Though things are starting to explod upon me and the allied army is having issues... Or well Sarah is having issues. *giggles*

And I saw you're e-mail, it's now on my schedule.

No No. None of that is needed.

(Naw - Sarah shakes her head - I"m just being insubordinate apparently, oh and disrespectful of their region through ignorance. Nothing that won't be solved by some Godly intervention.)

Mostly revolving around how Sparrow/the Arenians perceives the religion.

(I was told I was being worse than Jason when he was a Hopeful - Sarah chuckles)

*snort* funny she wasn't chuckling at the time. Now shush I need to post and get to bed. :}
