I'm getting aweful close to finishing up the draft of the thrid (and better be final) book of my Vervellean Phoenix Trillogy, Phoenix Triumphant. Exciting I know, right. *grin*

I am planning on participating in the 'National Edit Month' in March to get 50 hours of editing done on Phoenix Triumpant. Hopefully that will move me a good chuck towards being polished enough for posting. And here's why I created this topic.

I'm debating on May or April to start posting, with the though that maybe I should make it my birthday (April 15th)... What, oh great fan base *giggles*, is your thoguhts?

What Spoiler? *wink* Beside you ninny you get the biggest spiler of all. Reading the roughest of the rough drafts. :P

I mean teaser - just like I did at the end of Sarah's Pheonix - only I'll pick it from what I've edited so it could be the rfirst chapter, or it could be from a later chapter *grin* Whatever it is I will make sure it is yummy to the reading pallet and leaves you wanting more. *grin*

HM... So teaser to be posted by the end of March, heckle me if its not.

As to the first chapter in Phoenix Triumphant, I'm still debating on what deadline I want to set for myself....

They will most definately be back by May 1st. Potentially April 15, if I feel like making it a birthday present for myself *giggles*

Like I said I promise a teaser by March 31 to be posted at the end of Phoenix Rising.

But what do you think - shall I post 'spoilers' of stuff I edit out (such as what Jason's doing, or the thoughts of Chester? Who's Chester you ask... Why Yorks brother. Who's York you'd like to know *giggles* Why the two Nigiri assassins of course (yup they got named). York, the poor guy, he was the better half, got run through by Jason's sword. Chester, well he's the one that killed Marcus.

I know I"ve already posted some from NaNo, but I could continue to do so as I edit, potentially before I post the corrisponding chapter.

Oh and Moon, Spook is posting up Exile again. You best read it because we had a bit of cross over. (I believe we mentioned that in our crazy conversation last weekend, you me and Spook.)

He He the Skathians appear a few pages after where it stopped at the end of NaNo, so come the 28th you won't have far to go. In fact I stopped pretty close to the castle storming point... And yet I've done that and have hit 90k words! Yike! What is it with book that get progressively longer? *sigh*

Gah! one problem fixed, and other one crops up. BUT I do think I'm one or two scenes away from the wedding. *Elo crosses her fingers*

*Elo looks up with wide eyes* I see... well just make sure you go potty before starting to read... Oh and don't forget the barf bag.. the scene that STILL makes me want to scrub myself till my skin is raw, isn't all that far in from where you start.

*Elo shudders and makes scrubbing motions* The General just got soooo much nastier than when I first started writing this tale. Somehow when this is all done I'll have to figure out how to ban him from my head forever.

Of course there's a stupid sequel that's trying to pop into my head now, given some of the most recent circumstances and based upon a little something I wrote a while back. Let's just say Ryan may have a tale to be told *sigh*

Yes, Spooks Skthians appear in Pheonix Triumphant, about two thrids of the way though I guess. They are the good guys though, you know Gwythryn and Alara (and Caeren and Hama who appear halfway through Exile)

I'd really love to tell you more. I'll talk about my stroies all day long if I'm allowed, but I don't really want to spoil anything for you.
