Exactly ^^;
And yeah oooh, but not his courage because he won't then be able to stand up to him will he? Maybe like his strength? Hmmmmmmm idk

No that's exactly what I meant by strength - because we wasn't talking about the physical side of things, remember?

Hahaha!
Hmm well maybe he has to find something? But it's individual for each kid? So like a key to their soul, something that's important to them maybe?
I'm not sure about the individual thing though because that'd probably get really boring for the reader (and us), just looking for a thing for a different kid over and over and over again

Yeah, and yeah good idea:3
Definitely not a key. Maybe it's just something simple like - (just a suggestion) - a golden ball, or something? And it's ancient and nobody's used it for years, and he has to try and find it... Idk? Hmmm this is difficult

YEAH like a dream catcher but for SOULS
And it was shaped similar to a dream catcher, and maybe it could be like a necklace or something that the owner of the orphanage (who died ages ago) used to have, but the dark dimension took her soul and hid her necklace
Because the necklace was so pure, they wasn't able to destroy it and so hid it?? Idk man?!

Well the first time he gets pulled through because he doesn't know what's going on, and then he manages to get back (how???) and someone comes over from the dark dimension, the antagonist (again how???) and tells him about the sacrifice thingy, he gives up his strength and then he gets sucked back into the dark dimension and has to find the necklace?
dumbledoreisgod

Yeah exactly
So how does the antagonist get through?
dumbledoreisgod

Ooooh yeah that sounds cool
So now we have to think of a way that he is connected to Damon. Or does he just rule over the dark dimension or s/t?

What do you mean the orphanage in the dark dimension?

No no no ok I get you now, so everything is exactly the same but like dark and eerie and silent and the lights are flickering and stuff oooOOH THAT'S GOOD YES
And then so like okay right he's stuck in the dark dimension... but he can teleport? That doesn't make sense, surely he would have just teleported out of there in the beginning?

Okay so what if he's likes just confined to the orphanage in the real world, but only as like a spirit? Because even if he could teleport to just the orphanage, he could have been able to send a letter out or something for somebody to help him. Idk? Maybe I'm just looking into it too far

About this group

For those interested in outlining and discussing specific ongoing storylines.

Sometimes simply using the comments area to refine a story's plot, sending private messages to co-authors to discuss characters, or updating the author guidance with setting information isn't quite enough.

If you have an elaborate, complex tale — be it solo or collaborative — come by the Planning & Brainstorming group to storyboard, outline, annotate, draft, and discuss your work's plot, characters, setting, history, intrigue, or anything that comes to mind.

Please try and keep all discussion topics you create centered around a single work!

Note: The intention is to move all story-related discussions in this group into "Story Wikis" (a new feature, currently in planning) down the road, so please use this group instead of posting new works to discuss backstory/characters/story meta-information.
