For those interested in outlining and discussing specific ongoing storylines.
Sometimes simply using the comments area to refine a story's plot, sending private messages to co-authors to discuss characters, or updating the author guidance with setting information isn't quite enough.
If you have an elaborate, complex tale — be it solo or collaborative — come by the Planning & Brainstorming group to storyboard, outline, annotate, draft, and discuss your work's plot, characters, setting, history, intrigue, or anything that comes to mind.
Please try and keep all discussion topics you create centered around a single work!
Note: The intention is to move all story-related discussions in this group into "Story Wikis" (a new feature, currently in planning) down the road, so please use this group instead of posting new works to discuss backstory/characters/story meta-information.

Age: 16
Appearance: Curly dark hair, like Sherlock's only much longer. Blue-green eyes, long eyelashes, high cheekbones. Scar on her face running from the left corner of her mouth curving upwards to just below her eye near her cheekbone. She call's it her 'half-smile' or 'smirk'. Slender. Tall for her age.
Bio/Other: Studied the art of deduction since she was ten. Mostly emotionless except when it comes to boys. Has a few strange nervous ticks - her hands shake sometimes. She'll shiver like she's cold even if it's sweltering hot out.
Her body is riddled with scars from battles with criminal adults. Investigates peculiar cases in secret under the name 'Miss Hawk'. Only a handful of people know that she is the world's youngest consultant detective. These few people help her get into places no normal sixteen year old should be wandering about in. Her mother doesn't enjoy her getting tangled up in police business, but usually makes no objections - Sam is prone to depression when she's not working on something. Usually her adult friends don't want her chasing after deadly criminals on her own but she often slips past them to do so anyway. She knows that eventually her luck will run out. Sam doesn't mind though. She isn't afraid of death.
Miriam Howler
Age: 36
Appearance: Long brown hair, green eyes. Used to be slender, beginning to fill out as she ages.
Bio/Other: One night stand with Sherlock produced Samantha. As far as she knows, Sherlock had no idea he had a daughter. He died tragically before she could ever tell him. She's never told Samantha how he died; Sherlock died in a very mundane way considering his history with crime. He wasn't paying attention, crossed the street and was hit by a bus going at full pelt down a London street. Apparently the bus driver had seen him but had no time to stomp on the brakes because a fight had broken out between two passengers. He'd been looking in the rear-view mirror at them, yelling at them to cease and desist. Sherlock's ribs were shattered, puncturing his lungs. He died almost instantaneously. Miriam Howler is a somewhat quiet woman, but extraordinarily clever which is how she attracted Sherlock's attention to begin with in a pub. She'd asked him if was in shock from something because of blood under his fingernails - which was not his - from examining a body and he had an extremely strong drink which he hadn't taken a single sip of. Impressed by her natural sense of deduction, Sherlock chatted with her there before they rented a hotel room.
The rest is history.
(Thoughts? Suggestions?)
Sherlock has a daughter in the future but he dies and never even knows he has a daughter. Samantha Holmes doesn't know much about her dad except for the bits and pieces her mum talks to her about (Miriam Howler). By chance she stumbles across a man called John Watson who claims to have known her father. A mysterious murderer kills Dr.Watson and his knowledge of her father, the late Sherlock Holmes, dies with him. Samantha decides to investigate even though her mother begs her not to. Her mom hates it when she gets tangled up in matters the police should handle. She dons her father's old coat and heads out into London to find the mysterious killer. Eventually (somehow or another, not sure how yet) Sam finds that Dr. Watson's body was never found. Instead, a mysterious report of a stone angel turns up. Through a series of cryptic clues (don't know what they would be yet), Sam finds that he was somehow transported back through time via the stone angel. Further investigation in the stone angels reveals a certain Sally Sparrow that dissapeared and also was sent back in time. A mysterious person revolves around the Sparrow case - The Doctor. When she sets out to find 'the Doctor', he instead finds her and takes her back in time in his bigger on the inside police box to a certain apartment at a certain date - 221b. Baker Street, 2012.
Yes, please post bio :)
Now to work on an assistant as well... Mmmhh..
Age: 900+
Appearance: Stands at 6ft with dark brown, medium length hair that has no particular style. Piercing blue eyes and a slim figure that matches his thin face. Appears to be in his mid to late twenties. His clothing is somewhat obscure and ranges from a tanned leather trench-coat to a dark midnight blue suit.
Bio/Other: Has an unhealthy liking to country music for some unknown reason but he does like to think the music matches his trench coat. Loves bowling, claims it is "a sign of humanities finest achievements".
I'll work on this more later. And I'll get something up for an assistant. I have to get off now though.
Thanks :) I know I asked alot of questions... l,ol
Yes, please post a bio :)
Heres the TARDIS Index File Wikia: http://tardis.wikia.com/wiki/Doctor_Who_Wiki
I suggest seeing the files 'Time Lord', 'Tenth Doctor', 'Eleventh Doctor', 'Weeping Angels', 'TARDIS', 'Gallifrey' and perhaps 'Time War'.
I agree!
Age: 27
Appearance: A natural redhead with the length of her hair barely reaching her necks base. Quite small in stature as she is no taller than 5"3. She has one bright green eye and one bright blue one. She dresses in whatever she can reach. However, she detests jeans and much prefers a loose summer dress.
Bio/Other: Fairly vocal about her opinions and is quite inquisitive when it comes to new things. However, she can be shy around new people and is cagey when it comes to telling others how she feels. However, right from the first moment she met the Doctor she knew he could be trusted.
Hope this works.
Age: 29
Appearance: Tall, thin but lean with pale white skin and sharp icy cold blue eyes. He has very wavy/curly brown hair that settles around his face to frame his features as graceful and almost victorian. He wears a long black coat with deep pockets that he often shoves his hands into while standing or outside. He wears a set of dark trousers and black boots. A deep navy blue scarf is tied around his neck and he also has high set cheek bones.
Personality: Brilliant, aloof and almost entirely lacking in social graces. Sherlock is a unique young man with a mind like a 'racing engine'. Without problems to solve, it will tear itself to pieces. And the more bizarre and baffling the problems the better. He has set himself up as the world's only consulting detective, whom the police grudgingly accept as their superior.Though his only true friend is the veteran and doctor John Watson.
Background: In late 2011, Holmes's professional relationship with Dr. John Watson began. Watson would come to assist Holmes in hundreds of investigations throughout their years together at Holmes's flat in 221B Baker Street, London, where both were attended by the landlady, Mrs. Hudson. In 2012, Watson began publishing his accounts of these adventures with "A Study In Pink." Over the years, Dr Watson's blogs would carry many tales of Holmes's baffling cases and brilliant insight. Within his lifetime, he would become recognized across the globe as one of the world's finest analytical thinkers, often aiding Scotland Yard investigations, in addition to his own consulting practice.
Although fate cannot always be kind, in late 2017 Holmes' greatest adversary Moriarty manages the simultaneous break-in of the Tower of London, the Pentonville Prison, and the Bank of London. He is captured and put on trial, where, without a defense, he is found not guilty and released. He visits Sherlock Holmes who determines that Moriartys scheme was to advertise to his criminal clientele that Moriarty has a computer code that will open any door or access any account. Moriarty admits that that is part of his plan, but that he still needs to solve a problem he has with Holmes.
Leading to his famous end, known as the The Reichenbach fall....Moriarty tells him that if HE (Moriarty) were to die, the assassinations would be back on. Moriarty produces a gun and kills himself. Just as the assassins are preparing their kills, Holmes jumps from the roof. Watson sees Holmes bloody body; the assassinations are called off. At the gravesite, Watson says aloud that he never believed Sherlock was a fraud, and begs that he still be alive.
Very long I know. >.< Sorry I got a bit into it and didnt quite know where to stop so....heres sherlock :)
