too lazy to create a timeline for walking the dead so i will put it up here

*Day one* cooma hit but not hard. only a few hundred turn and the rest stay in their houses as ordered by police.

*Day four* major looting starts as only half cooma's population is left alive (we leave then)

*Day five* having rounded everyone up in a group with supplies and a few weapons and such we leave for harry's farm.

*Day six* chain of command established, people given jobs and all wounded are left in the house while everyone else sleeps in the sheep shed.

*Day seven* Parties sent to aquire all sorts of missing needs such as medicine and guns. partly done in cooma as well.

.......................................................................................................................

*Day 20* after major unrest and a few people falling victim to the virus the group decides that they need to move away and into the center of australia, find a farm with enough water to sustain them and to grow food but far enough inland to be able to wait out the apocolypse without worrying about walkers due to their bodies drying out.*should notice this after they see corpses that cant move due to malnutrition*

*Day 22* everyone ready and packed. with at least one shooter in each vehicle

From then on improvise and any other ideas for plot.

Ok, Sounds great. :D
How do we get out to Harry's farm?
What do we do about our family members? I don't like the idea of killing my family, and if I did, i'd probably sink into an uber deep depression.
But, If we can't have family members with us for the time being, I'd atleast like for my dad to be away at work with him possibly surviving allowing for some sub-plot there. :D

yeah sure i am thinking that either we have it as a just kids thing so like have our sister along and say your parents went for a holiday or something. just i would like to have it so it is mainly teenagers so that we dont have to work through the whole problem of the adults trying to assert their authority over us simply because they are older than us.

also with harry's place he already worked that out sorta so im thinking that i go around to petes cus he is close and he has bid over. We then make our way to everyones houses respective in the town and make a group from there i am delegated leader as the shock is yet to fully hit me and i am still capable of making decisions when we are al together i convince people to go to harry's we get the drivers (you, jess, ... whoever else can drive :P) then once there we continue on and then we eventually make a trip out to the out of towners and yeah continue from there

Ok! Posted mine up just now.
Just a summary of my total injuries.
Severe bites to the shoulders, upper and lower arms, torso and upper legs. Also a three fingered gash across my face where the Zombie Clawed me.
None of the injuries hit any major arteries or blood streams, the gash missed my eye and the majority of damage sustained from that was on the cheek. None of the bites were like tear the flesh out bites (I haven't thought of a reason why) just sink the teeth in.
So yeah, I'm going to be out of action physically for awhile, then after that emotionally abit longer, but after that a certain degree of suicidal badassness shall ensue.

We're doing Bios?
Well, My character.
Suffers immense physical and emotional trauma at the beginning of the story. As such, even as he heals physically he fails to do so mentally and emotionally, he becomes reckless, not caring for his own safety and not fully comprehending the damage that his actions cause upon the rest of the group. Throughout the story I plan to have him do numerous stupid stuff, such as stealing a car from the group and heading into the city/populated areas. Taking on any number of the Zombies that he crosses paths with. This will eventually lead to the group becoming involved and endangered, and eventually, I would like my character to die off... Preferably in a Matyr sort of way, after an epiphany i.e Destroying a bridge or building killing the zombies in pursuit but saving the group as a whole (If you guys want we could even work some mysterious survival as a twist, but thats unlikely).
I plan to have my re-amergance as a character with an engagement with a Zombie.. Say we're at our camp in central Australia, A small group of Zombies catches the group by surprise and just as the fatal blow is about to be dealt, my character intervenes, killing off a Zombie, allowing the others to group together, and dispatch the others.

Oh, in central Australia, if we don't encounter other Zombies perhaps a pack of Wild Dogs, or other hostile survivors. :D

ok so a few zombie traits they can survive off almost nothing. as shown when a walker is found with only a chipmunk in its stomach.
they will shamble about aimlessley until they have a target ie. you. once they have a target they will continue after a slow pause at a slow run.
after about a month they become so lifeless that they begin to slow down (sitting still until something is close) after about a month and a half they simply stop if they have eaten nothing. after a month if they eat hey regain energy after about three or four hours.
their bodies do not "rot" as we would call it. they rather just become mummified type thing and just dry out without decaying.
after a week or so of no food they become ravenous and will seek food with a lot of energy.
will think of more later.

guidelines (so we dont muck anything up)
it is summer and therfore holidays but near the end so homework is an option ;P. some people will be on holidays. i shall be the leader untill harry's from there we will take a vote. (not guidelines but feel i should clearly state this)
no-one is killed off without consulting everyone else.
if you have an idea for the story or timeline post it here (kinda obvious)
harry post a character bio

also if we need it (which we will) here is a general outline of peoples roles in the group
lewis - lookout
pete - lookout
pedwards - lookout/supply getter
sam - weapons expert
jess - medic/driver
trotsky - ...
me - trap designer/advance scout/driver
harry - trap maintainer/lookout
jayy - hunter/lookout/driver
bid - avenger (andrea type character)
flic -
xiao yan -
tyler - protector/driver

needs more but this is a rough outline and hopefully shall fix it up soon

Okay.
Well both Pete Turner and I have advanced first aid training. And Xiao wants to get into medicine.. Maybe Pete and Xiao could handle the medical side of things and I could just be a sorta on the field touch and go sorta hting

About this group

For those interested in outlining and discussing specific ongoing storylines.

Sometimes simply using the comments area to refine a story's plot, sending private messages to co-authors to discuss characters, or updating the author guidance with setting information isn't quite enough.

If you have an elaborate, complex tale — be it solo or collaborative — come by the Planning & Brainstorming group to storyboard, outline, annotate, draft, and discuss your work's plot, characters, setting, history, intrigue, or anything that comes to mind.

Please try and keep all discussion topics you create centered around a single work!

Note: The intention is to move all story-related discussions in this group into "Story Wikis" (a new feature, currently in planning) down the road, so please use this group instead of posting new works to discuss backstory/characters/story meta-information.
