Name: Marcas Neodróin
Superhero name: Quantum
Nationality: Irish
Age: 27
Gender: Male
Power: The ability to manipulate energy
History: Works as a scientist focusing on finding alternative methods of energy. He discovered his power as a young boy and was experimented on as a child because of his ability to change any type of energy to another. He also has the ability to turn energy into 'pure' energy.
After a legal rescue by child services he was allowed to live in confinement from the rest humanity, for his safety and their's, during this time he researched heavily into methods of alternative energy, as this was something he was naturally good at. Thus, leading to where he is today. However, when it comes to using his power, he is quite conservative and thinks of himself as a pacifist. Not because he is against violence, but because he realizes his power goes hand in hand with great destruction.

Name: Grace Bell
Superhero name: Snake Eyes
Nationality: English
Age: 25
Gender: Female
Power: No 'power' as such. Was bitten by a black Indian Cobra, and has taken on its flexibility and agility.
History: The child of the leading expert in the study of snakes, travelled with her father around the world as she grew. When she was 21 her father died, and she continued his work. 4 years later, in India, she was bitten by an Indian Cobra and miraculously survived. When she returned to England however she noted she had developed strange skills, and went to America so that she could learn to use her skills without being recognised. She began to be a little enthralled with her skills and is therefore known to the governement for theft etc but is in general a good person, something which will develop as the story goes on.

Generally the idea is this. We can all post whenever we want, and however many chapters we want to write our own story. However, when something affects the world, we must all come together. The first time it will doubtless be accident that all the heroes appear at the same time. But then perhaps they will work together (in twos and threes, and in big crisis' all together) if the situation requires it, or if you would feel more comfortable writing with someone.
I will also be including guest writers, who will appear for a couple of chapters to be our villains, or the government or whatever.
THIS IS OUR SUPERHERO EMPIRE. LET'S BUILD IT!

Oooh can I be a villain? Please? I'd like to be a villain. I wouldn't have to write as often - you know I said I have commitment issues - and, well, I'm a sucker for the bad guys/girls. They're always my favourites to read AND write. Please? :D :D :D

If not, I could be a good person, I guess. I mean, it's less entertaining, but I'm sure I could cope... ;) (Or I would be happy to do both. It's the summer. I'll be sleeping most of the time.)

Well you see the plan is for the villains to be guest writers so that they don't have to write as much. So you could either do that, or be a goody. But I can see that a villain would be more appealing! Hahaha so yes, you can be a villain. But this means you won't be writing right at the start, because we're going to all have to write a few chapters to get to know our heroes. :D

That's okay :D I will just sit and plot. But if I come up with any ideas for good people I guess I could let you know. Though I have exams for the next two weeks so I won't have any ideas for anything except perhaps new ways of committing suicide. So yeah.

DEL FOR A VILLAIN CAMEO! DEL FOR A VILLAIN CAMEO! 8D
Hehe, sorry xP

Bio here:
Name: Teresa "Tessie" Holmes
Superhero name: The Imp
Nationality: Welsh
Age: 19
Gender: Female
Power: Short-range teleportation.
History: "Tessie" is actually a codename - she's actually a member of a minor order of fae-esque beings who dwell in a parallel reality to earth. Unfortunately for her, she ended up slipping through a crack in the breach and can't get back again. However, she's become quite attached to Earth and all its entertaining nonsense, so she's decided to stay, posing as a circus acrobat. She's somewhat amoral and vindictive, but her view of Earth changes drastically as she realises its worth.

About this group

For those interested in outlining and discussing specific ongoing storylines.

Sometimes simply using the comments area to refine a story's plot, sending private messages to co-authors to discuss characters, or updating the author guidance with setting information isn't quite enough.

If you have an elaborate, complex tale — be it solo or collaborative — come by the Planning & Brainstorming group to storyboard, outline, annotate, draft, and discuss your work's plot, characters, setting, history, intrigue, or anything that comes to mind.

Please try and keep all discussion topics you create centered around a single work!

Note: The intention is to move all story-related discussions in this group into "Story Wikis" (a new feature, currently in planning) down the road, so please use this group instead of posting new works to discuss backstory/characters/story meta-information.
