Sometimes simply using the comments area to refine a story's plot, sending private messages to co-authors to discuss characters, or updating the author guidance with setting information isn't quite enough.
If you have an elaborate, complex tale — be it solo or collaborative — come by the Planning & Brainstorming group to storyboard, outline, annotate, draft, and discuss your work's plot, characters, setting, history, intrigue, or anything that comes to mind.
Please try and keep all discussion topics you create centered around a single work!
Note: The intention is to move all story-related discussions in this group into "Story Wikis" (a new feature, currently in planning) down the road, so please use this group instead of posting new works to discuss backstory/characters/story meta-information.
I know I'm not the only one who wants a seqel.
I, Xeranad and possibly one or two others will be participating from the first group. New additions will be welcome as well as guest appearances (if anyone should feel so inclined).
To the authors of the original group who are participating: character bios would be great with any updates you need to put in. Also any ideas of how far into the future after the celebration (new participants: see "Lonliness" by Xeranad, "Recovery" by myself (xKatanaXIV), and "The Prince and The Pauper" by Xeranad for reference) we want the story to be begin. And any special aspects of the story you have.
To be noted by everyone: Before we start (and I will be the one starting it this time) we will need permission from writers in the first group the mention their characters as some have left/dropped out or are no longer affiliated due to various reasons. Which will be taken care of shortly. As soon as we figure out who is participating.

Age: 18
Appearance: Dark skin, thick black hair with a couple streaks of grey. Light armor, if any.
Magic Abilities: Stealth and cloaking spells, and a bit of magic manipulation (turn it solid and use it)
Bio: Suppose to be a noble but had to run away from home when he was younger because he was born out of his father's affair. Very cocky and likes to act tough, though willing to help his friends.
Name: Thomas Bernard Aquos
Age: 24
Appearance: Blue eyes, brown hair, and five o'clock shadow. He wears the blue cloak that his father owned, and he always has the hood up. His left eye has a healed gash across it from a sword. He has a belt across his waist, and a japanese Katana hanging by a thread.
Magic: Complete control of water (absolute), Can create water.
Bio: At the end of Magister Lords he leapt into the ocean and found his father's spirit. His father taught him everything he knew and then brought him to an island far into the ocean (not the one Vand grew up on). On this island there was a fishing society (much like the japanese culture) and he was their protector for 10 years. He even had a wife and two children, Paul and Peter. He found a rip in space and time that was bringing monsters forth. Thomas went through it to destroy the monsters only to find himself in the past. Except for his eye scar and shadow, he looks almost identical to his father.
Appearance: Nothing really changed for her after the fall of the Magisters. She's still dressed in those tattered rags and looks a bit dirty. Still she still possesses an unearthly beauty.
Magic: Command and limited healing.
Bio: After the Magister's defeat, Gwen returned to the woods with Snickers, once again calling herself the Witch of the Woods. Alexander followed, and now protects her from harm.

Alexander Kahner
Age: 22
Appearance: Dressed in black armor and carrying a nasty sword, Alexander looks rather imposing. His crimson hair glistens like flame and his emerald eye gives off a dark glow towards any who cross him.
Bio: Deciding to go against his father's wishes, Alexander wanted nothing more than to be by Gwendolyn's side forever. His devotion has lead people to call him the Black Knight, due to the color of his armor. He has not once failed to protect Gwendolyn from anyone who wanted to take her from him.
Name: Derrick Keane
Age: TBD (To be determined) by how far into the future the story is.
Appearance: Longish dark hair, bangs on the right side. White skin (not too pale). Tall, fit, scar on the back of his left shoulder and part of his neck (from a fight with a lightning, and a fight with Jon and their comrades. see TML, "this isn't helping anything" by Russ)
Magical abilites: Manipulation (basically, can use any elemental magic but instananeous stuff like lightning. He can manipulate animate objects and even people. he can also recite any type of spell). and Healing (which is self-explanatory, but he doesn't really advertise it).
Bio: Before TML, he left his home as a runaway to teach at an underground magic academy and gained excessive knowledge. You want to know about magic, ask him. there's not a lot he doesn't know. He was kicked out of the magic academy after losing in a fight to a guy named Uther who can, of course, use lightning magic. He was sort of a wanderer after that.

Recent bio: After nearly killing himself, Derrick's recovery has been as follows: after five weeks he could walk without too much trouble, although sudden movements cause him dizziness (he calls it a "head rush"), after a year he could cast minor to medium spells again. After two years, major spells. Two and a half years equals a full recovery as long as he doesn't slow it down. Six months after he proposed, Derrick married Kiandra Aymrae, his fellow runaway from the marketplace (so long ago now! hahaha!). He's still an expert mage, and is gaining even more knowledge now that certain libraries have been unlocked again.
@Seraphim'sZephyr wasn't Thomas like, fourteen, when he first appeared? He was probably around fifteen by the end, wasn't he?
Perhaps we should establish how much time has passed first? A year? Two years? Maybe three at the most. That way all of us are back in action.
I'm going to see if any others from the first story want to make an appearance or have a permanent spot. I will also post this in the Collab corner to see if we can get one or two new participants.
Also: Are we in agreement that we want this to be about being Jon and Soren's advocates on the front lines (basically among the people or training soldiers and mages) to help rebuild the kingdom? If you have another aspect to suggest or add, post it here and we will see what we can come up with.
I was wondering if can I create a totally diffferent character who can easily but fitted in as having been a lab rat for one of the mages. If its okay let me drop him in.
Name: Nox
Age: Below 25
Appearance: A cripple, moves with a limp, brown skin, no hair on any part of the body, small in stature and looks like an elderly person in a child's body.
Magic: Ability to manipulate energy from essential anything that stores or utilises energy. And can easily harness it and utilise as he so wishes. Can draw energy from spells being cast depending on the energy used on the spell and its composition.
Bio: Has no recollection of his past. He was hidden in one of the academy's secret section. Has no idea of the current situation in the outside world and seems shy around too many people. Escaped from the academy to look for food after discovering his master was never coming back . Does not really belong to any side of the war.
He also suffers from a condition called tremors.
My character is up but then I need some guidance and how the sequel will be.
Your help is appreciated.
And I honestly do not want that to happen this time around. I really want to get to know Alexander as a whole, rather than the monster he becomes in all other stories.

Xeranad, i think it would be cool if Alex stayed human for this round. I'm quite curious as to who he is, especially since he proposed to Gwen the first time they met. I mean, wow. Confident and extremely romantic. Interesting combo (and kinda dreamy, not gonna lie! lol)
